WARNING: Neopets Glitches

I have been alerted to a severe condition on Neopets. Currently, a bank glitch has enabled people to duplicate Neopoints and some individuals are currently spreading them around in an attempt to get people frozen. Be careful accepting trades and items from others. It is recommended you do not accept items from strangers and do not accept overbids on trades.

This post will be updated once the situation returns to normal.

Journey to IDB Isle

IDB is hosting a 1-player event corresponding with neopets Journey to the Lost Isle. This event will be individual and team battling. Guilds are free to come participate (and be a team of their own) or you are free to make teams amoung friends just for fun :)

If you participate in the individual part of this event you do not have to participate in the team side of this event. If you participate in the team side of this you will automatically be in the individual part as well since we will already be taking your scores in. (It will not be more work for you.)

New Raters Official Announcement!

After a lengthy discussion, I am proud to announce that IDB Rater applications are finally over! It was a long and difficult process, but after analyzing and reviewing applications and interviews, we have finally chosen eleven new raters to welcome into the IDB family! Please offer your congratulations to the following people (in no particular order):

Click on the 'adventure' to read the comics, click on the 'puzzle' to solve the puzzle. Is it battledome related? Will we get any challengers? It's too soon to tell.

Rater Interviews Have Been Completed....

All of the prospective new raters have now been interviewed, and the IDB staff is now reading transcripts of the interviews and making their comments on them.

Thanks to all of the applicants who were such good sports in subjecting themselves to our questions!

IDB Staff who took part in the interviews were (and I hope I'm not forgetting anyone here): Kagemucha, Graphitesmoothie, Forte, Cranberry, Stuimulatus, Benladesh, VermontHermit, Mike, Lackadazed and Q77.

Thanks to all, and a personal thanks to those who covered my four interviews Monday after the New England storm knocked out my electricity from Sunday night until Thursday afternoon.

Thanks also to all of you who applied for the rater positions and weren't interviewed. We'll have openings again in the future, and many of you who didn't make it this time, I'm sure will next.
