Oh dear. Ylanas Blaster essentially does everything this does with additional air icons... at a cheaper price. With the TCG now discontinued, this is destined for obscurity. Scarab Ring shreds this too, as everyone before me has pointed out.

Scarab Ring reduces this expensive blaster to a 5-iconer, as does Leaf Shield. It's also entirely blocked by burrow and gets just three icons past sink. It might be a decent 2-player backup weapon, but in general, it's not worth the huge jump in price from the 10-icon Scuzzys Comb and Ramtors Spellbook. Just save up and get a 13-iconer instead, or consider Steaming Skeem Potion if you do a lot of 2-player battling.

Power (2/4) 11 offensive icons

Price (1/2) About the same as other 11 icon weapons

Tactical (2/3) The five fire can lead to some interesting anti-Ghostkershield switchups, which are less likely to be reflected than the traditional P-kiln. Unfortunately vulnerable to some cheap and well known defenses.

Another Angle (0/1) This is inexplicably overrated in contrast to the other TCG blasters.

Alternatives: In addition to the other TCG blasters previous raters have mentioned Sword of Apocalypse averages 11 icons, and Steaming Skeem Potion will also do 11 icons some of the time. As prices on these rise, Portable Kiln also becomes an option.

Upgrades: Bow of Destiny, Wand of Reality, Dull Stone Axe

Defenses/Countermeasures: Sophies Magic Hat Almost totally negates this, but the real downside is that this loses when matched against the Scarab Ring

Cheaper than Portable Kiln and has better combination even though its not that good compared to the other 11 iconers. You might want to upgrade your under 10 iconers to this while this cheap!

Another nice TCG item with damage matching that of the Portable Kiln. This is a bit more varied, but still easy to block so only pay Kiln prices for these, maybe a bit less.
