Completely and utterly overshadowed by the cheaper and more powerful Kelpbeards Trident. Releasing these two weapons so (relatively) close to one another was quite a cruel move on TNT's part for those who bought this once its price had stabilised. Myself included.

Being a Cove item, this will always be more expensive than KBT, but on the same note will serve as a decent investment. Collector's item only.

Ever so slowly, water is becoming a more dangerous attack in the battledome, and this is the latest and best attack weapon to feature it in its attack. 13-icons concentrated over only two types of attack makes it dangerous, and it's a fine way around the Ghostkershield. The price is a current hinderance, and the fact that it's a cove weapon would tend to indicate that price will be an ongoing problem with it, as it'll be quite rare. The Faerie Tabard, will tame it nicely, and the underappreciated Hobans Hat will beat it head-to-head with equal stats. In general, this is a fine addition to the battledome, and though the rarity and price will make it tough for the average intermediate player to justify obtaining, it's a fine #3 slot, alternative attacker at that level.

Power (2/4) 13 icons isn't bad

Price (1/2) Not cheap, but currently only 2-3x what the bargain weapons in this icon range cost.

Tactical (2/3) The heavy water iconage is going to mean that this sees a fair bit of use in 2p as an anti ghostkershield option

Another Angle (1/1) I like coconuts.

Alternatives: For those on a budget Wand of Reality and Bow of Destiny deal 13 icons for a much lower price, and Ylanas Blaster is even cheaper than those. Other alternatives in this price/icon range include Ultra Bubble Gun, Dull Stone Axe, Asparachuks, and Werelupe Claw Necklace. Other anti-ghostkershield options include Poratble Kiln, Porcelain Hair Sticks, and Glowing Cauldron

Upgrades: If you like the heavy water attack the only better options are Slumberberry Potion, which counts as your freezer and Glittery Faerie Dust which only hits water sometimes. For more raw icons, you probably want to step up to Sword of Skardsen

Defenses/Countermeasures: Faerie Tabard completely shuts this down. U Bend of Great Justice, Enchanted Kiko Squeeze Toy and even Leaf Shield offer some defense. Hobans hat comes out ahead.
