Applause for whomever at TNT came up with this. Two-player fighting for those without the 100 million plus np budgets just got a lot more interesting. Do you carry a Ghostkershield to ward off the Sword of Skardsen or a Farie Tabard to ward off this? Use both and you do no damage. This is powerful and attractively priced. Also, until this new weapon, there wasn't much for the average battler to fear from water attack. That's all changed. Look to see more use for the Tabard and Hobans Hat by defensive pets. Loses a point as both Sink and Burrow will destroy the Trident, meaning that in two-player you'll need to fight battles that last more than four rounds (assuming freezing) for this to have a major impact.

Sweet, tnt finally made an interesting addition to the battledome. At 9m this thing is a steal, It'd be worth much more if it were r99 or released elsewhere.

2p has now become a guessing game between Faerie Tabard and Ghostkershield.

This opens up some interesting combos.
For the rich: Wand of the Dark Faerie, Faerie Slingshot and this Trident would be amazing. Not to mention Illusens Staff+Ghostkersword+Trident or Illusens Staff+Pirate Captains Cutlass+Trident

Mid level: Ghostkersword, Trident, along with either Portable Kiln, Glowing Cauldron, or Pirate Captains Cutlass.

Lower level: Too many combos to list :p

I can see Ring of the Lost+Faerie Tabard becoming a common sight. Illusens Staff+Faerie Tabard as well.

In my opinion Faerie Tabard is now the new Ghostkershield.

Power (3/4) I did some limited damage testing tonight, it appears the actual minimum is 16.3 icons of damage and the actual maximum is 24 icons, but the chance to hit for over 20 icons is only around 1-in-20 or so. The average is very close to SoS or PCC

Price (2/2) Currently the cheapest weapon

Tactical (2/3) There are a number of counters for this, but it does open up tower-top battling in 2p as it's a fourth viable main constant. Gets a bunch through Ghostkershield, Pirate Captains Hat and ignores Pteri air resistance.

Another Angle (1/1) Plus one so long as this is immune to Bent Fork

Alternatives: The other upper-tower main constants are Pirate Captains Cutlass, Sword of Skardsen, and Glittery Faerie Dust

Defenses/Countermeasures: Faerie Tabard and U-Bend of Great Justice pwn this. Enchanted Kiko Squeeze Toy, Hobans Hat, Leaf Shield and Slippery Floor Potion may also be worthwhile countermeasures.
